XLF, ERX: Big ETF Inflows Wednesday, December 10, 12:05 PM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF), which added 18,300,000 units, or a 2.3% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) is up about 0.2%, and Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) is relatively unchanged.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Daily Energy Bull 3x Shares (ERX), which added 1,400,000 units, for a 35.9% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of ERX, in morning trading today Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE) is off about 2.4%.
