XLY, TMF: Big ETF Inflows Wednesday, September 10, 12:08 PM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY), which added 9,050,000 units, or a 9.5% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLY, in morning trading today The Walt Disney Company (DIS) is down about 0.6%, and Comcast Corporation (CMCSA) is up by about 0.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Daily 20+ Year Treasury Bull 3x Shares (TMF), which added 300,000 units, for a 40.0% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of TMF, in morning trading today iShares Lehman 20+ Year Treasury Bond (TLT) is down about 0.6%.
