XLF, SLVP: Big ETF Inflows Thursday, September 4, 12:03 PM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF), which added 14,700,000 units, or a 1.9% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Berkshire Hathaway Class B (BRK.B) is up about 0.3%, and Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) is up by about 0.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the iShares MSCI Global Silver Miners ETF (SLVP), which added 300,000 units, for a 33.3% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of SLVP, in morning trading today Buenaventura (BVN) is off about 1.6%, and Hecla Mining Company (HL) is higher by about 0.6%.
