Kroger (KR) raised the quarterly dividend by 12 percent, to 18.5 cents per share, to be paid on December 1, 2014 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 14, 2014.

Penn West (PWE) has declared a third quarter 2014 dividend of $0.14 per share to be paid on October 15, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 30, 2014.

Covanta Holding (CVA) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share, an increase of $0.07 per share, or 39%, from its previous dividend. The increase is consistent with the Company's plan as announced on June 9, 2014.
