Yum! Brands (YUM) approved an 11% increase in the Company's quarterly dividend. The quarterly cash dividend will increase from $0.37 to $0.41 per share and will be effective with the dividend payment to be distributed on November 7, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 17, 2014. This increase raises the annual dividend rate to $1.64 per share.

Brady Corporation's (BRC) Board of Directors has announced an increase in its annual dividend to shareholders of the company's Class A Common stock from $0.78 per share to $0.80 per share. A quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share will be paid on October 31, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 10, 2014.

Colgate-Palmolive (CL) declared quarterly cash dividends of $.36 per common share, payable on November 14, 2014, to shareholders of record on October 17, 2014.

Tyco International (TYC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, payable on November 13, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on October 24, 2014.

And, Nucor (NUE) declared the regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.37 per share on Nucor's common stock. This cash dividend is payable on November 10, 2014 to stockholders of record on September 30, 2014, and is Nucor's 166th consecutive quarterly cash dividend.
