Dominion (D) has declared a quarterly dividend of 60 cents per share of common stock. Dividends are payable on Sept. 20, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of business Aug. 29, 2014.

L Brands (LB) announced the declaration of its regular quarterly dividend of $0.34 per share payable on Sept. 5, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 22, 2014. This is the company's 159th consecutive quarterly dividend.

Ingersoll-Rand plc's Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.25 cents per ordinary share, payable September 30, 2014, to shareholders of record on September 12, 2014.

Bemis Company (BMS) has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 27 cents per share. The cash dividend is payable on September 2, 2014, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 19, 2014.

Illinois Tool Works (ITW) declared a dividend on the company's common stock of $0.485 per share for the third quarter of 2014, a 15 percent increase over the quarterly dividend paid in 2013. The dividend equates to $1.94 per share on a full-year basis. The dividend will be paid on October 7, 2014 to shareholders of record as of September 30, 2014.

CBS announced an increase to its quarterly dividend from $.12 per share to $.15 per share. This dividend is payable on October 1, 2014, to shareholders of record on September 10, 2014.

And, Dover (DOV) increased its quarterly cash dividend to $0.40 per share, from the previous $0.375 per share, an increase of $0.025 or 7%. This is the 59th consecutive year in which the Company has increased its annual cash dividend. With this increase, Dover has the fourth longest record of consecutive annual dividend increases of all listed companies, as reported by Mergent's Dividend Achievers.
