The US markets are down this afternoon, with the Dow down 0.37%, the S&P lower by 0.50% and the Nasdaq lower by 0.80%. Some of the most actively traded stocks include Bank of America (BAC) down 1.05%, Apple (AAPL) up 1.4%, CBS (CBS) down 0.67% and Sirius XM (SIRI) down 1.3%.

In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was down 0.37%, and the Hang Seng was lower by 0.02%. In Europe, the FTSE 100 was lower by 0.62% and the German DAX was down 1.03% today.
In economic news, Consumer Credit comes out tomorrow, Initial Claims and Wholesale Inventories on Thursday, and Treasury Budget on Friday.
Companies releasing earnings this week include: Alcoa (AA) on Tuesday, WD-40 (WDFC) on Wednesday, Family Dollar (FDO) on Thursday and Fastenal (FAST) on Friday.
