Tuesday 7/29 Insider Buying Report: CPSS, TWI Tuesday, July 29, 3:28 PM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Monday, Consumer Portfolio Service (CPSS)'s Director, Greg Washer, made a $481,603 buy of CPSS, purchasing 70,700 shares at a cost of $6.81 a piece. Consumer Portfolio Service is trading up about 10.6% on the day Tuesday. Before this latest buy, Washer made one other purchase in the past year, buying $26,140 shares at a cost of $6.15 each.
And on Tuesday, President Paul G. Reitz bought $214,800 worth of Titan International (TWI), buying 15,000 shares at a cost of $14.32 a piece. Titan International is trading up about 5.4% on the day Tuesday.
