Marathon Oil (MRO) has approved an 11 percent increase in the quarterly dividend payable on Marathon Oil Corporation common stock, resulting in a new quarterly dividend rate of 21 cents per share. The dividend is payable on Sept. 10, 2014 to stockholders of record on Aug. 20, 2014.

Marathon Petroleum (MPC) declared a dividend of $0.50 per share on common stock, a 19 percent increase in its quarterly dividend. The dividend is payable on Sept. 10, 2014, to shareholders of record as of the close of business Aug. 20, 2014.
