Wednesday 6/18 Insider Buying Report: VC, BRS Wednesday, June 18, 11:55 AM ET
Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Friday, Visteon (VC)'s Director, Francis M. Scricco, made a $295,968 purchase of VC, buying 3,200 shares at a cost of $92.49 a piece. Visteon is trading up about 1.3% on the day Wednesday. This purchase marks the first one filed by Scricco in the past year.
And at Bristow Group (BRS), there was insider buying on Friday, by Chief Financial Officer John H. Briscoe who bought 3,000 shares for a cost of $77.01 each, for a trade totaling $231,030. This buy marks the first one filed by Briscoe in the past year. Bristow Group is trading up about 1% on the day Wednesday.
