IWM, CHII: Big ETF Outflows Thursday, April 24, 12:02 PM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM), where 7,650,000 units were destroyed, or a 3.2% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IWM, in morning trading today American Realty Capital Properties (ARCP) is up about 0.4%, and Acuity Brands (AYI) is lower by about 1.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the China Industrials ETF (CHII), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 14.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of CHII, in morning trading today Hollysys Automation Tech (HOLI) is off about 1.4%.
