XLF, IWX: Big ETF Inflows Thursday, March 27, 12:45 PM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF), which added 44,750,000 units, or a 5.5% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) is up about 1.5%, and JP Morgan Chase & Company (JPM) is up by about 0.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the iShares Russell Top 200 Value ETF (IWX), which added 1,250,000 units, for a 37.9% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of IWX, in morning trading today Exxon Mobil (XOM) is up about 0.8%, and General Electric (GE) is up by about 0.5%.
