MOO, RYU: Big ETF Outflows Monday, March 31, 1:02 PM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Agribusiness ETF (MOO), where 3,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 4.7% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of MOO, in morning trading today Syngenta (SYT) is up about 0.3%, and Monsanto (MON) is higher by about 0.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Guggenheim S&P 500 Equal Weight Utilities ETF (RYU), which lost 400,000 of its units, representing a 30.8% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of RYU, in morning trading today Frontier Communications (FTR) is up about 0.9%, and Exelon (EXC) is higher by about 0.5%.
