VTV, VO: Big ETF Outflows Friday, December 7, 1:02 PM ET
Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Vanguard Value ETF (VTV), which shed 21,299,862 shares, or a 15.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VTV, in morning trading today Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is down about 0.1%, and General Electric Company (GE) is lower by about 0.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Vanguard Mid-Cap ETF (VO), which lost 17,100,000 of its shares, for a whopping 26.7% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of VO, in morning trading today Health Care Reit Incorporated (HCN) is down about 0.1%, and Ross Stores Incorporated (ROST) is higher by about 0.3%.
