KRE, FGEM: Big ETF Inflows Friday, June 15, 1:05 PM ET
Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (KRE), which added 2,300,000 shares, or a 5.7% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of KRE, in morning trading today Texas Capital Bancshares Incorporated (TCBI) is off about 0.8%, and Bancorpsouth Incorporated (BXS) is relatively unchanged.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Financials GEMS exchange-traded fund (FGEM), which added 50,000 shares, for a whopping 33.3% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of FGEM, in morning trading today Itau Unibanco Holding SA (ITUB) is up about 0.6%, and Banco Bradesco S A (BBD) is higher by about 0.5%.
