GDXJ, MOAT: Big ETF Inflows Tuesday, May 8, 1:23 PM ET
Looking today at week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest inflow was seen in the Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ), which added 3,800,000 shares, or a 4.2% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of GDXJ, in morning trading today B2gold Corporation (BTO.CA) is off about 6.9%, and Silvercorp Metals (SVM.CA) is lower by about 3.7%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest increase in inflows was the Morningstar Wide Moat Research ETF (MOAT), which added 100,000 shares, for a whopping 40.0% increase in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of MOAT, in morning trading today AMAZON.COM Incorporated (AMZN) is off about 1.7%, and Compass Minerals International (CMP) is lower by about 1.8%.
